Since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2005, Nicki’s films have screened at both international and national film festivals including the Berlinale, Cannes, SXSW, Hot Docs, Full Frame and IDFA and have premiered on National Geographic and in theaters both in Europe and North America.  Ranging from documentaries and music videos to art installations, Nicki’s body of work focuses on social issues and culture.  Her projects have taken her around the world to countries including Haiti, Germany, France, Canada, India and throughout the U.S.

With a passion for supporting and collaborating with other artists, Nicki founded the Outpost Art Collective (New Haven). Outpost produces video, web-content, events and multi-media art projects that promote and highlight artists and their projects.  Through Outpost she has produced and curated several art events in New Haven and Brooklyn including art shows, film festivals, music concerts, arts festivals and more.  While in Brooklyn, Nicki also played synths in the band 12,000 Trees.

Nicki serves on the Board of Directors for P.L.A.C.E. Multicultural Children’s Museum & Creative Arts Center where she teaches video workshops to middle school students, organizes cultural events for families and is designing the museum’s future media installation.
